Ingredients

1 1/3 Cups flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted, cooled
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons + 1 t water


 
Instructions
Position rack in center of oven and preheat to 350F.

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in medium bowl: Stir in butter. Whisk together yolk and water. Add to flour mixture. Stir with fork until well blended.

Press mixture evenly onto bottom and up sides of 9" glass pie plate. Bake until set and just beginning to color, about 15 minutes.
